Finėjas (Greek mythology - Phineus) is a Greek mythological character, king of Thrace and a prophet. He was very good at navigation. He revealed to the Argonauts how they should get past the hazard of the Symplegades - the clashing rocs (Ovidius XIII, 710; Vergil III, 211, 245).
